Affiliates Need To Diversify

Don’t put all your eggs in one basket!

I remember reading the story of a guy who had a good monthly income from a single web site, did something that upset the search engines, was de-indexed (ouch) and his lost his income.

There’s any number of cliches I could use when talking about how to maximise your affiliate efforts and protect your income. The bottom line is that if you want to make a living as an affiliate marketer, it is highly unlikely that you will achieve this from having one site. Equally, it is unlikely you’ll achieve this if you rely solely on one form of marketing, e.g. search engine optimisation.

You need to develop multiple sites and use as many different ways of marketing as you can.
