Rakuten, Japan’s largest online shopping mall operator, said Tuesday it will buy New York-based Internet advertising agency LinkShare Corp. for $425 million.

WWE’s SmackDown! moves from Thursdays to Fridays on UPN, starting Sept. 9 at 8 p.m. EST. It debuts with a new name, Friday Night SmackDown!, and the ambition to spark a viewer renaissance for network TV on Fridays.
