Finally LinkShare have launched in the UK. Better late than never as they say, this massive affiliate network (purchased last year by Japanese Corporation, Rakuten for approx $450m) is sure to fire up the UK affiliate scene. Obviously, if they ever make a film about this, LinkShare were here from the beginning…
Don’t expect a flood of merchants overnight but it’ll be worth joining and keeping up to date.

Watch out for a flood of emails promoting Ewan Chia’s latest offering. Obviously the flavour of the month (year?) seems to be who can sell the most in one-day and create the most DVDs from one conference call. Ewan is undoubtedly a ’super-affiliate’ and if you were to invest your hard earned in one course then this would probably be as good as any. Look out for who’s offering the best bonus from his JV network if this is a ‘must have’ purchase. Alternatively, buy a good book and get into a couple of good affiliate forums (http://www.affiliates-world.com/affiliate-marketing-forums.htm) and ask relevant questions. Oh, and keep an eye on eBay in about 3 months
